Teacher Signs Send the Wrong Message

Hill and Davidson were given the shaft in the last election. By who you ask?

Viscuso and Paris. No support given to Hill and Davidson. The "click" decided they were done with these candidates. 

So without explanation, Hill and Davidson were cut loose.

As a voter, did you know that?

I hope one day Hill and Davidson run again.

Time for this board to go.

They sure were given the shaft and I would like to see nothing more in seeing both run again. If they get elected there would be no strings attached to these Knuckle Heads and will go on the Board with an open mind. There time has come don't let it pass you by !

Well ,there appears to be something going on with this BOE election. 

Davidson and Lindenfelser are running together. Doran is running himself.

Hill is not running. Or, was not asked to run. And Granelli is not running.

The three running are unopposed. 

Next up, McDonald,  Cifelli-Sherry  and Zapata. That should be interesting  since Zapata beat Paris. The original team was McDonald, Cifelli-Sherry and Paris. Is Zapata part of the team?

Or will Hill be asked to run.

He will not be asked to run because he is a good and decent man. I seen Mr.Hill at many functions as a board member. 

Don't remember seeing other members at these events. He cared about the children and teachers.

I hope he will run again. We need people who care and don't have conflicts with serving on the board.

Don't be taken for a sucker this Board gets what it deserves full blame for this mess despite what this Board member says!!!!!!!!

Mrs Cifelli-Sherry has her sign up "WE SUPPORT KEARNY TEACHERS"  but still no contract. Where's the support Mrs Cifelli- Sherry???

I attended the event today at the high school. They dedicated the high school addition today. It's ironic that the very people who stopped the construction were the same people standing with a stupid grin on their face today. Were they smiling because the high school is finished or because they pulled one over the Kearny taxpayer. Some board members did not attend. Nothing like caring about the position you were elected to by Kearny people.

Take look at the names on the plaque,

The political click that has run the board for years. The same people who cost the district millions. Time for a change Kearny.

This board of ed has over stayed their welcome.

The term is clique, and there is nothing anybody can do to reverse the poor choices made for Kearny in the next 25 years.  Our town has been taken advantage of by the fathers, mothers and grandparents of the people that work there now.  Their sons and daughters are not equipped with the capabilities required to do the jobs that they were elected to do.  It will take years for all of them to retire.  It is also contingent upon the staff that are tasked with hiring new employees to place more importance on  "Past Experience"  rather than the "Referred By"  criterion on the applications before setting up interviews.

It is worse in Harrison where mediocrity gets you designated an Abbott district so in additional to local property tax dollars you get State taxpayer money.  Mayor Smith of East Newark pulled the East Newark high school kids out of Harrison School system and put them in Kearny school system because it was significantly cheaper per student dollars than Harrison.

Harrison is a patronage mill.  You kiss the Dr. Doran ring or you pay the consequences. Dr. Doran illegal uses Federal money to pay a fellow councilman Huaranga and his son some cash on the side and when he gets caught says no bid deal an accounting error.  If he hadn't been caught it would have been an accounting error. 

The Abbott funding also supports family owned child care centers througohut town which provide free babysitting services to low income families attracting more and more families to Harrison and more taxpayer burden.

So Kearny should follow Harrison and screw its number even further and apply for Abbot funding.  Why not?  This way the teachers who are mostly connected to elected current and former official can continue to get their money while the children learn less and less.

The State and the Feds are too blame they do nothing to stop this blatant corruption.

Those two gentlemen then passed away suddenly .You can't take it with you should have been the lesson learned BUT a lass power and greed have ruined many a good man and woman. Harrison Town Hall just hired a bunch of workers and the Harrison board of Education continues doing the same.  Qualifications and ability to do the job is not important, it is your political connection.  As long as you do not object to what the powers that be want you get to keep your job and retire in 20 years with a pension from the State of New Jersey.  You however have checked in your soul in exchange.

Just remember why there is no money to give the Teacher's, there's a long list of mistakes that have been made and the above post just cracks the surface as to what this Board did to this School District. Hope you Teacher's learned a valuable lesson. Elect smart people to the Board that will manage the taxpayer's money instead of wasting it.
