Municpalities like Union City, West New York, Jersey City, Harrison and Kearny have Mayor's that love the title of sanctuary city. Trump has already started with $200 million in cuts of federal funding to states such as N.J., N.Y., California and Massachusetts. It will be in the billions in short order. How will these individual cities and towns make up for millions in lost federal aid without raising taxes? What's the plan? Kearny and Harrison are going to lose 20% of their municpal budgets while being under water already. The residents can't take 8% to 10% property tax increases but that's where it's headed.
