Kearny Schools in CRISIS But the lights at the field look great

The result in my opinion of poor decisions by this Board of Education have resulted once again in the Taxpayers of Kearny having to pay more in School  property taxes (an average increase of $200 per household) and the end result being 37 employees being laid off and the Children being given less services in return. This School District is going backwards fast and the blame is squarely on the Board of Education. How are those lights looking now Mr. Viscuso at Franklin School. A senseless project and wasted monies that could have solved many of the CRISIS issues that are now facing this School District. So ask this question at the next Board Meeting? How much did the lights at Franklin School cost???  And how many teaching positions could have been saved if they didn't put lights on this field????? 

The reality of the failures of Education in Kearny is that under educated Board Members and the lack of experience of the Supt of Schools has resulted in mistake after mistake and it never stops, Employee stealing money, Janitor's being investigated for taking advance of Student's and Co-Workers, 2 million dollars from the High School Project unaccounted for in an audit that was taken and not shared with the public?, The biggest mistake that has resulted in Charter Schools invading Kearny and more and more Students leaving Public Education for Charters and this has resulted in no money to give teachers and when they do settle this contract there will be teacher layoffs you can bet on it because there is no money and the only way to get it is by cutting staff. The Board office that was built was a joke and should have never happened money wasted millions of dollars and money taken away from kids. Shame on these board members for abusing power and just plain wasting taxpayer money for a stupid pipe dream of putting themselves and their decisions a head of the Taxpayers and Students of Kearny. More and more people are paying attention to what's going on in this District and I believe there will be no more free rides for these Board Members and the next election cycle will be a Red Wave of newly elected Board Members that will change the vision of our Schools and put Kearny on the map once again as a District to be Proud of so let the  RED WAVE BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
