The AP isn't stupid but you are. The vast majority of these attacks have taken place overseas, in countries where their security systems aren't functioning well. Here in the United States, under President Obama's leadership, homeland security is in excellent shape, which is why these attacks are not happening here. Contrast that with the dismal state of our security apparati during Bush's first year, which led to the World Trade Center being taken down, the Pentagon attacked and four airplanes full of innocent passengers being killed, all on American soil.

The report also points out that most of the attacks have occurred in Africa and the Middle East, where the United States has meddled in other countries' internal affairs for - take a guess - oil. Mainly it was Republicans like John McCain, Dick Cheney and other war hawks who have led the meddling.

President Obama is not responsible for the entire world. His job is to protect us here in the United States, and he has done that. He deserves your credit, 2dim, not your contempt.

So you're saying that Obama's world wide apology tour was a failure. What his apology tour did was to tell the world that Obama was a feckless empty suit that would not stand up for American values. Most of the world's terrorism can be traced to Obama's sympathies
