Every year in Normandy on that day, all European presidents gather with thousands of citizens to pay homage to the 200,000 American soldiers who gave their lives in the invasion. In all 70 years, American presidents have always attended, with one exception. Guess who ? You're right. Barack Obama did not attend 6 straight years, 2010 thru 2015. Our president, our CIC, was absent or should I say AWOL. I'm certain our next Republican president will attend and apologize for the snub to our heroes by Obama.
