Fire Department Racial Diversity

The Kearny and Harrison Fire Depts. are doing a poor job of achieving racial diversity. The white man's welfare club needs to implement efforts to make the Fire Depts: 30% White, 30% African American, 30% Hispanic and 10% other. These towns must hire minorities to reflect the trending demographics showing African Americans and Hispanics moving to Kearny/Harrison at a robust pace. Newark is a prime city to solicit minority applicants to Firefighter jobs. The undocumented dreamers should also be allowed to join. The requirements of a HS diploma or GED, a willingness to sleep long hours and poor to average physical conditioning are not an obstacle to employment. The racial diversity MUST be achieved in 2016.
