Global warming indeed helped cause this blizzard. As the oceans get warmer, the storms get bigger. Biggest snowstorm and biggest hurricane in history in the last 5 years. That on top of the fact 2015 was the warmest global temperature on record. Please do yourself a favor and turn the channel away form Fox news and do US all a favor and get off these boards until you have something intelligent to say. None of these people is a climate scientist, and they're not addressing the data (data is another word for "facts"). Giaevar turns himself into a joke with these remarks. OK, he resigned from a scientific body because the vast majority didn't agree with him on climate change; so were all his colleagues wrong, or was he? He makes a joke of the fact that the highly respected journal called Nature won't publish his papers - yeah, no kidding they won't, there's a reason for that. It's obvious when you read his life history that his politics got in the way of any science he used to know. If you want the science, read what the scientists have to say.
