It wasn't that many years ago, when that was not the case. The gap between union and non-union salaries grows wider and wider. The sad thing about the settled contract is that it was a step back for the union. Do you blame the non union employee for not being part of the KEA?? Lets understand something here the Union President is fully involved with these board members even having *** ****** employed in the School System. So where is the fairness in coming to an a agreement that will benefit all our teachers and sell out to the board because of **** ******?? Its time for the KEA to stop going backwards and start going forward in giving teachers the respect they deserve and end the good old breakfast club. The KEA needs new leadership from top to bottom so teachers ours future leaders are out there so step up and make your voice be heard and be part of the solution and not part of the problem and make the KEA strong again.
