Guest Harrisonian
A fire on 2nd Street between Warren and Bergen at the warehouse. The smoke was throughout Harrison and there were chemicals in the building. They use the alert system for everything but didn't use it today to advise people with asthma and breathing difficulties to stay indoors. Our firefighters had to call in all the other towns to put this one out. Crazy.

Guest Guest
I blame Doran for using emergency broadcast system for advertising private businesses and as a free political tool of advancing his agenda. When will it stop. Yes, blame Doran.
Guest The Bravest
We stayed close and almost died brothers. This inferno was Harrison's own 9/11/2001. We battled the beast as our food got cold. We work 24 hours non-stop without a break and the residents owe us a big raise and bonus because they have safe jobs and we are better than them and run into burning buildings. Brothers, we did not ask for help or need it. That was Mr. Dorans idea. Harrison Firefighters are # 1. The ambulance was taken away from us but us brothers fought to keep it to save even more lives but Harrison best EMT's ever. Brothers , stay strong and live the best possible on the peanuts we make. No people thank us from keeping them from the terrorists.

Guest Guest
How utterly sick does someone have to be to continually focus such ire and vitriol on one particular group of people. The amusing thing is that If it was a racial, or Ethnic group, he (or she) wouldnt have the guts to openly do this.
Guest worried
I wasn't at the fire but i saw a video of it,,all of the out of town firemen were really woking hard,at the fire. Then they showed harrison fifefighters all standing together in a circle, and they were all laughing and having a real good time,,,GUYS to many cameras and camcorders taking pictures, are watching you. IT was really in bad taste --shame on you ,harrison resident...

The only advice I can give you is put in your 25 and retire. You can always watch Chicago Fire re-runs.
