Did he or did he not see whats been going on lately, all kinds of terorism, kidnapings, soccer moms with attitudes, we need police to keep us safe. How much would he actually save? Is it worth it. We will remember come November!!!!!!!!!!!! North Arlingotn unite we must vite to succeed from bergen county!!!! South Bergen will rise again! Guest Guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 The Police dept. is out of control. Who ever heard of an officer taking grievance complaints against the local government. Who ever heard of police officers inciting a crowd. Lets look at the facts. You are already paid more then Kearny or Harrison PD. Having 18 supervisors for 18 Patrolman is ridiculous. The Mayor should reduce the number of supervisors through retirements . He should ask for a review of the Police Department by the Division of Criminal Justice which will cost the taxpayer nothing. Once the review is finished, he should implement the recommendations made. A new Table of Organization should be put in through ordinance that has a proper number of supervisors to patrolman. I'm sure most of the people in the mob outside the council chambers were relatives, friends and other PBA members who were called in by the local PBA.
