There are several news agencies requesting information regarding the latest fire in S. Kearny but they are being stonewalled by the Administration and the fire chief. Insurance premiums for S. Kearny are already astronomical. This is a major reason for the lack of new development in that area. The lack of sufficient fire protection has not gone unnoticed by developers and insurance companies. The Mayor and Council rolled the dice on fire protection for S. Kearny and lost.
