So, in you far left socialist Loony world, the people that strive to get ahead, work hard to get an education and a good job, maybe work two jobs to pay the mortgage or the tuition, should share the results of their sweat and tears with the Joe Sixpacks of the world who's only effort to get an education is reading the sports page.

Sorry Charlie, that's not what the founding fathers had in mind. Go to France and take your Marxism with you. What's made America great is the ability to determine your own destiny according to your own abilities and vision.

Yes, the government should provide healthcare for those physically unable to provide for themselves, but stay out of my pocket, I'm not paying for Joe Sixpack. All the Tea Party adherents will send this message loud and clear in Nov.

The people working two jobs to pay the mortgage are the ones taking it in the neck so that the people who don't make anything except money can get filthy rich. That's not what the founding fathers had in mind either but it's what the Republicans have been doing for decades. They've fixed the system so that a few can make billions shuffling paper while regular, hard-working Americans who actually contribute to society have to struggle to get by. They've already redistributed income and you're helping them do it because you're too stupid to realize which hand is picking your pocket and too stubborn to look at the reality that's right in front of you and as obvious as the nose on your face.

That's right I have a job. I also worked while going to college and still graduated in 4 years and paid my own tuition. If you feel a kinship with Joe

Sixpack that's fine but I don't. Joe can live in his momma's basement and drink his beer but stay out of my pocket.

I don't have a problem with the "filthy rich". They're the one's that own businesses that hire people when they're doing well. Obama's Marxist agenda will

stifle the businesses, that's why we're still at almost 10% unemployment.

GOV FAT WILL LEAD THE WAY

NEW BRUNSWICK -- There’s little left to cut from Rutgers University’s Department of Asian Languages and Cultures, school officials say.

Two faculty members have been let go, leaving eight professors to teach 50 classes. The garbage in the department’s office is cleaned only once a week. And last year, they said, the telephones began disappearing.

"The faculty members don’t have their own phones," said Kathleen Licinski, the department’s administrative assistant. "It’s just a minuscule budget."

This year, it may get even smaller.

Licinski spoke at a press conference at Rutgers’s main campus in New Brunswick today, alongside students and university union officials protesting proposed cuts in state aid to higher education.

Facing record deficits, Gov. Chris Christie has proposed cutting $173 million in state aid to universities, a nearly 8 percent reduction. New budget language released last week also included a surprise cap on tuition proposals, further squeezing the bottom lines at state colleges and universities.

The first battle will take place Wednesday afternoon in Trenton, during an Assembly budget hearing on the governor’s proposals. The stakes are high for the universities, which have endured cuts in state aid for seven of the past 10 years, according to union officials.

"Immediate effects include larger class sizes, fewer faculty hires, fewer class offerings, cutbacks in services and hours, and cutbacks in technology purchases and facilities renovations," the New Jersey Association of State Colleges and Universities said.

University officials were still reeling from Christie’s proposed cuts — which spare none of the state’s 12 public universities — when the governor announced support for a 4 percent cap on tuition and fee increases. Institutions that exceed the limit will lose a portion of their state aid.

Officials at Rutgers, which stands to losing $46.6 million under Christie’s budget, blasted the cap as an "artificial" one that would hurt the university’s ability to borrow.

"The burden of funding higher education has clearly shifted from the state to students and their families," the university said in a statement.

Montclair State University President Susan A. Cole said the higher education sector had endured enough cuts in the past decade. Under Christie’s proposals, the state will spend $2,600 for every full-time student at the institution, down from $4,800 in the fall of 2000, she said.

"The ultimate effect will be continued missed opportunities to build the programs and educate the students that constitute New Jersey’s future," Cole said in a statement.

The governor defended the reductions in the face of record budget deficits.

"This is an unprecedented fiscal crisis that New Jersey is facing," said Michael Drewniak, Christie’s spokesman. "We wish it were different but it’s what we were left with."

In his March budget proposal, Christie said he hoped to "ultimately drive down tuition costs" by allowing state colleges and universities to negotiate with employee unions on their own, rather than at the state-level.

Merylou Rodriguez, a sophomore at Rutgers, said she was particularly incensed by proposed cuts to the Educational Opportunity Fund, a financial aid program aimed at low-income families in the state. Christie’s budget includes a 8.7 percent reduction.

"I would not be here if it were not for the EOF," said Rodriguez, who received $1,400 from the program this academic year. "These cuts are just devastating

I don't have a problem with the "filthy rich". They're the one's that own businesses that hire people when they're doing well. Obama's Marxist agenda will

stifle the businesses, that's why we're still at almost 10% unemployment.

When Obama forces companies to offer their employees healthcare, they don't hire people. I've heard this logic before. So when companies are held to higher, nobler standards, they take the low road so they can salvage their yachts. I get it. Obama is simply trying to empower the working person and keep him/her healthy. If employers don't want to do this, THEY are the problem. You want to take steps backward. In a previous post you even suggested that unions were becoming unnecessary, as if some divine covenant was forged between the working man and his oppressors. That's what your camp is all about though. I don't know when you'll get it. I hate to be that person who tells somebody what his/her identity is, but you're a Republican only in the lackey sense; only in the sense that you're a sap; you're a sheep.

Also, don't blame the 10% unemployment rate on Obama. We know when/why employment took its biggest plunges. We also know that when Obama wanted to salvage jobs, Republicans voted against him. Not because they had a better plan, but they have an anti-Obama, "no" agenda. Sounds pretty petty to do to a guy who a majority of Americans actually voted for, and who won without a shit-ton of votes being thrown out.... and who, after all, was born in the United States of America. You'll get it one day, though. One day, maybe when Sarah Palin is president, you'll understand why we 53% voted for Obama. I don't have to remind you why a plurality of us voted for Gore... right?

See, moron, that's your problem. You don't see how Joe sixpack contributes to our country. You don't respect people.

Arrogant and stupid is a bad combination.

Stupid:

They didn't earn that money. They gamed the system. The CEOs who got 20-million-dollar bonuses for destroying their own company, the hedge fund managers who made billions of dollars redistributing wealth, didn't add anything of value to the economy. All they did was game the system. They got into a position of power and they took advantage of it.

We're at 10% unemployment because we failed to pay attention to our long-term needs. Instead of investing in our infrastructure and new energy sources, which Bush could have done ten years ago, we squandered the budget surplus Clinton and the Democrats gave us, at a political cost to themselves, and gave the money to the richest people in the country. You cheered while Bush gave our money away to the richest people in the country, who already had more than they needed or ever earned.

Instead of paying attention to history, we deregulated the financials, the banks, Fannie and Freddie, and allowed an unsustainable economic boom to be built on speculation - the same thing as happened in the 1920s. Government had prevented major long-term swings in the economy for decades but no, that wasn't good enough for the radicals in the Republican party. Government was the enemy, never mind that without government the economy would collapse from the weight of corporate greed.

You seem to think that the economic system is natural, like a tree that grows in the forest. It isn't. Any economic system is artificial. It's made from rules and tax structures and corporate laws and all kinds of other laws that structure the economy to work the way we want it to work. When the rich have complete control of it, they ALWAYS, sooner or later, kill the goose that laid the golden egg by grabbing more short-term gain for themselves, the country be damned. And sure enough, every time they gain enough control, as they did under Bush, the economy gets wrecked and then someone like FDR or Obama has to save it.

You're too stupid to realize that's what the rich people and their Republican lackeys are doing. We already have socialism. Every developed country on Earth has socialism because there's no sustainable alternative. Only here, thanks to idiots like you, it's socialism for the rich. And of course, you don't want to hear it, so instead of explaining how we can do it any other way - which you can't do, since there is no other way - you'll repeat another of your idiotic platitudes that someone said when the economy consisted of local farmers and village smithies. And no matter how many times history teaches us that the economy doesn't work the way it worked in 1800, you'll continue to insist that Thomas Jefferson was an expert in 21st century economics. He would be the first to recognize that a 21st-century economy requires 21st-century economics.

FDR couldn't get us out of the Great Depression because the country wasn't willing to spend enough to make the necessary investments to put people back to work. Only when we started spending massive amounts of money on munitions in World War II did the economy fully recover, and guess what, it became the strongest economy on Earth. Fortunately, we have people like President Obama who understand this, and fortunately for us, he is our President, not some Republican bonehead who thinks the cause of the problem is the solution.

And yet tens of millions of idiots like you watch Fox Noise, which is the propaganda mouthpiece for Roger Ailes, who is filthy rich and couldn't care less about this country as long as he can make his money. You're too stupid to realize that they're picking your pocket and destroying the country. You have no answers. You never do. So you'll respond with some idiotic platitude, like you always do, and post up another inane thread tomorrow. What I hope the sane people in this country will begin to realize is how dangerous and how stupid you and the other right-wing nutcakes are.

teee heeee ?? Is that a technical term? And no, I don't blame Obama for 10% unemployment, everyone knows Bush did it. Oh, and BTW, Obama was born in Indonesia, the birthers are right. When the truth is uncovered Obama will be put in jail.

No, it's in there and it happens to be true. Apparently you think destroying the economy and getting us into an unnecessary war are funny.

How I respond to a post is based upon the intelligence level of the post. As you can see, I thought the

intelligence level of the last post was somewhere between stupid and ignorant, ergo "Bush did it".
