Guest tHE dONALD
No I heard that the mayor came into the station and there were no bosses or cops in the station. So he TOLD the chief to get the LT's in the station, and always have a sgt. on the road....... Too bad its costing the town a mint......... i HAVE AN EASY SOLUTION. hAVE THE 2 Captains work nights from 1900 t0 0300 with each working when the other is off. The have the Lts. get back on the road and stop hanging in HQ doing nothing but watching TV. tHE DISPATCHERS HAVEA GOOD GRASP OF THE JOB AND DON'T NEED 24 HOUR SUPERVISION. Guest guest
Try coordinating the Captains at the fire department and see how good you can do. There are 25 or so Captains a the Clubhouse so if you can get them down to 4 or 5 per shift it would be amazing, and they are all doing nothing at the same time. Go figure some idiot makes a suggestion about the PD but purposely ignores the Captainitis at the fire department/clubhouse/he-mans women haters club. Do they have pillow fights at their sleepovers and do each others hair?

Guest guest
Once again, another topic ends up with the same argument - HPD vs HFD. This forum is useless because every time the same thing happens. Doesn't matter what the topic is, it always goes back to the same useless squabble. Who gives a shit about the town, "the police understaffed", "well the firemen are overpaid". This forum should be changed from 'Harrison' to 'HPD vs HFD'
Guest Guest
Hfd and the Hpd get along just fine, only a couple of JO's keep this topic going.
essexleo
Regarding the original topic, it is possible that the "No Trucks Allowed" restriction is unenforceable. Municipalities can not just arbitrarily restrict a curtain type of vehicle just because it feels like it. Furthermore, if it was enforced the scrap metal recycler at the foot of North Fifth Street would be negatively impacted. I think the trucks are here to stay.
