YOU must be the half wit! If it werent for the closing of the bridge on 280, and the rocket scientists called drivers, you would be right. To a point. We wouldnt need two on each corner, but because the Crossing Gaurds are NOT ALLOWED to direct traffic, this is where the problem starts. I see some of them trying to get the vehicles out of the way so people, children, etc. can get across the street because these cars do nothing but block the box, trying to get across the light before it changes. I saw one almost get hit the other morning. If it werent for her partner yelling across the street to look out behind her, she and the children she was crossing would have been part of the pavement, even after she had told the driver to stop and wait for the children to pass. I think thats why they need two on the busy corners. When one doesnt have pedestrians to cross, he or she, can watch the others back. If you want to get on someone, get on those drivers who dont want to take the extra five minutes to obey lights and the Gaurds!! As for their appearence, doesnt the town or the police dept. buy them their uniforms? Seems to me you should be bashin them and not the gaurds. I know, I wouldnt be able to do what they do, out there in the rain and in the cold, etc. They should be comended and not put down. Think a little bit before you bash next time.

Obviously buddy, you have me confused with someone else.  I have not been HURT by any reassignment, I have a job to do --- and I do it, no matter what shift I'm on.  I have no need or intention of filing any lawsuit.  I don't have a cushy job, nor did I ever.  All I do is come to work and do my job.  As far as education goes, I'm a product of the Harrison school system, so hopefully you weren't one of my teachers   I never claimed to be a Rhodes Scholar, but reading the language of your post, I'm that much closer to being one My appearance is always professional and I treat people like I would like to be treated.  If there's a hall of shame for the people that come in and do their jobs every day (even before the time when the f%uck ups, whiners and sick abusers were rewarded by the current administration) then, yeah, I'm a proud member of the hall.  I'm not a faker or faked any injuries.  Quite the contrary pal, I, like other "good cops" have come to work with sprains, bruises, etc.  I am not afraid of the fight pal, I got no problem saying things to peoples faces.
