Guest Wondering Posted December 16, 2003 Report Share Posted December 16, 2003 Just wondering: Does a board of ed job have to be posted for a certain amount of time in newpapers or on-line before it can be filled and voted on? I always thought any municipal job had to be advertised for 2 or 3 weeks. Can people with applications already on file be hired without interviewing others? Also, if hiring for a departmentalized subject now, does the applicant have to be"highly qualified" already? Depending on whose involved the story seems to be different.
