I know for a fact that the state gives out grant money for police depts to get those dodge trucks. PS look at all the trucks Kearny PD has!!! YOu have to apply for the grant and you will get them. Too bad we pay a company to write grants for the town of Harrison. Have we seen anything FREE yet? I havent. But my tax bill keeps going up. way to go political scumbags!!!! nice clock at least I know where my money is going!!! How much was that? You could have purchased a new police car with that money...... or maybe fixed the police radio system THAT DOES NOT WORK IN THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!. Maybe he should sleep later and concentrate on the the real problem of hiring more cops to stem the rising crime, buts thats not on the monthly meeting agenda. If he wants to find town employees sleeping just go to the firehouse day or night and he can find plenty of $100,000+ employees soundly snoring away. Get a life Ray. That's right. Eighteen grand for a stupid clock because my life just would not be complete without walking past the town hall and not knowing what time it is. What a joke. While we're at it how about everybody showing up at the town hall next friday, December 14, at 6:00p.m. The town meeting was supposed to be tonight but they postponed it to Friday the 14th in the hopes that not many people would show up and they can then easily pass the 11 MILLION DOLLARS that the council wants to bond without anybody noticing it!!! That's right folks our esteemed mayor and his band of merry thieves wants to bond an additional 11 MILLION DOLLARS for the parking deck!!! 40+11=51 MILLION DOLLARS thus far. FOR A PARKING DECK!! And they would like to do it before January 1st cuz after the new year they won't have Vic or Mike any longer and they know Maria's not gonna go for it and they're not really sure which way Nascimento is gonna roll.
