Not everyone can go to the ELKS to drink, you have to be a memeber or a guest of the member. So before you name bars, you need to know your stuff.
You can go to the Manor or Vinnie's. Those are 2 of the only bars left in Harrison.

theres Central Lounge, The Green Room, Tony Endzones, The Manor, Irish place between 3rd/church square, one on first street, right by la pizza some mexican joint.

I don't deny that the cops could be found at Vinnies having lunch. They don't have a state of the art kitchen like the fireman or time to go grocery shopping while patronizing out of town businesses when they could buy their food at local markets in Harrison. As to lunch at Vinnies Allstar, at least the cops are not pounding beers with their lunch like the on-duty fireman. IMO, WRONG AGAIN!

I'm willing to bet $100. that nowhere else in NJ and probably the entire U.S. will you find a secretary making $91,000. And if that doesn't shock you, how about an $81,000. janitor. N.J. is in a financial hole partly because of the giveaway programs such as Abbott Districts that pour money into towns like Harrison without any oversight that I can see. When will Corzine wake up and see the lavish life styles the Abbott funding is providing to the "in-crowd" of Harrison.

You should see the coaches they have at the pop warner level. (LOL) The Junior level seems to have the most competent coaches who actually have a clue!!
lets get something right... coaching pop warner.. is volenteer... these people reguardless of skill and knowldege of the game still put out their time to do something for the community.. i wish i was able to do that to be honest, but i cant do it in life right now.. too busy for it..... so just lay off them... if you think your clued in.. why dont you stop gabbing bout the awful coaching.. and coach a team yourself

What's Mike Rodgers Thinking?
August 10, 2008 (Harrison NJ). Harrison Garden's Executive Director and former Councilmember Mike Rodgers this week has continued to enforce the prohibition apparently in the public housing lease agreement that prohibits tenants from flying flags outside their apartments. Harrison Garden's resident Marie O'Brien wanted to fly the American Flag outside her apartment in honor of her daughter, Jennifer, who will be serving in the armed forces starting next month. In any other neighborhood, the American flag would be welcomed. Not in the Harrison Garden's neighborhood. Here is where a rule needs to be broken. Let Rodgers or any Harrison Public Housing official and/or worker take down Marie O'Brien's American flag. In this turbulent time of war, how can Mike Rodgers deny a mother the right to fly the American Flag in honor of her daughter. Rodgers should be ashamed of himself and should immediately apologize and change the Housing Agency's policy. What is Mike Rodgers thinking? Can such a rule be enforceable in a court of law? What judge is going to tell Marie O'Brien that she has to vacate her apartment because she flew an American flag outside her apartment. How un-American would that be? Mike Rodgers is simply wrong. Harrison needs more American flags being flown in honor of individuals like Jennifer O'Brien who are serving our country. Prohibiting her mother from flying the American flag just makes no sense.
my only logical reason for this.. is that if he allows the american flag,,, he is going to have to allow,,, allll the other flags of people and "their countries"
