The truth is that Reagan, Bush and Bush all did the same thing.

The strategy of the right wing is very clever and so far quite effective. They spin a narrative, true or false, and their sheep-like followers repeat it as though it was true. They don't bother to do any research to see whether it's true, and even if you point out the facts to them, they don't care and they don't change their opinion or their understanding of the facts.
Hitler took power in Germany by mastering propaganda and the big lie: tell a lie often enough and people will believe it. The bigger the lie, the more likely people are to believe it, because most people are not willing to believe that someone would lie about something big.

I hate making the comparison to Hitler. It is classic and overused. Tragically, however, and whether intended or not, it accurately describes the tactics of the current right wing in America. I don't know 2stupid4words and prefer to think that he means well. But what he is doing, and does here day after day, tears at the very fabric of our country and our lives together as one people and one nation. We shouldn't have to make an argument that truth matters but apparently we do. That is a measure of how radical and unreasoning the American right wing has become. I am dead serious about this.
On this forum, we have seen 2stupid4words open one topic after another, day after day, incessantly propagandizing for a right wing fantasy. Fifty years ago, people would have laughed. But since Reagan dumbed down the American population and convinced them that stupid was in, and with the rise of Fox noise and its daily, fact-free talking points, a large segment of the American population takes this garbage seriously.
So what is the antidote? 2stupid4words has a short attention span, opening topic after topic and never addressing the content of any of them. So let's have one topic where we call him and other right wingers out on their lying. We'll begin with this post and watch.
My advice to others is to ignore his topics as he posts them and respond here. Let's see if there is anything that can convince this jackass to change his behavior.

That is a lie. Lying right wing scumbag, 2stupid4words, cannot name one industry that President Obama has tried to own and operate, including the health care industry. The statement is a perfect illustration of repeating a big lie, in very simple terms, over and over until people believe it.

Lying right wing scumbag, 2stupid4words, and anyone else has an open forum to present facts to prove me wrong and defend this false statement. But they can’t because it is a lie. In fact, with reference to healthcare, it doesn’t even make sense. Nothing in the new law gives ownership or operation of the health care industry over to the government. The hospitals and doctors offices are still owned and operated by the same companies and people who owned them before. 2stupid4words' statement is a lie, plain and simple.

Another typical Loony response, half-truths and spin. When Reagan and Bush had official state business that conflicted with the Memorial Day observance at Arlington Cemetery, their VP's took their place. This happened once in Reagan's eight years and once in Bush's eight years.
Obama is another story, instead of official business he'll be vacationing in Chicago with his old cronies. BIG DIFFERENCE .

That is another lie, in fact at least two lies. On Memorial Day, President Obama will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/05/25/ob...econd-visit-ho/ This is every bit as official and as solemn as Arlington. If Obama had gone to Normandy beach, for example, the right wing would skewer him for going to France on our Memorial Day.
There is also not a shred of evidence that he will be with even one of his "cronies," much less terrorists, as 2stupid4words previously and falsely claimed.
The fact is, this would be fine with 2stupid4words and the other right wing nutcakes attacking Obama if Bush or Reagan had done it. They just hate this president and will not just criticize but demonize him no matter what he does.
The other point is that it wouldn't matter if a president did skip Arlington. This illustrates a difference between the right and the left. The right thinks that patriotism is about commemorating the past, while the left thinks patriotism is about serving our country. It's the difference between false piety and true piety, outward displays of affection and real love of country. Jesus of Nazareth expressed this difference when he spoke of the hypocrites to go out of their way to make sure people see them praying. Every wife or husband who hears "I love you" but then sees a colder reality also understands the difference. See http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/05/26/ri...ttack-on-obama/

Let’s take them one by one. In the first place, the President’s name is Barack Obama. Calling him Comrade zerO would have been considered treasonous when Stupid’s favorite President was in. Now, apparently, disrespect toward the President is OK.
There is no evidence of any improper or illegal activity in the Sestak matter.
President Obama is not skipping out on anything. 2stupid4words' accusation is a lie. The President observed Memorial Day at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The ceremony was rained out but President Obama went and stood there in the pouring rain, wind and lightning. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/obama...rained-10790829 http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/po....check.cnn.html No doubt 2stupid4words will blame him for the rain and would love it if it had been rained out completely so they could blame him for leaving. But in fact the President stayed and completed the ceremony, not that it made the slightest difference to the war effort or the economy. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/marin...wreath-10790912 There is no evidence he is “hangin’ with his bros” in Chicago. That is also a lie. The President’s appearance at a national cemetery on Memorial Day is always brief, and it is always for show. It does not change a single policy or improve a single life. So while that statement is not a lie, it is ignorant.
The President has not been a failure on the Gulf oil disaster. That is also a lie. The federal government has directed BP’s activity throughout. When an ignorant person like 2stupid4words claims that the President is lying about the government’s activity, he should have some evidence to support that claim. 2stupid4words has no evidence but he accuses the President anyway. That is another lie.

"No evidence of improper or illegal activity" ?? Open your eyes, Loony. Do you really think Bubba Clinton thought up the idea by himself or Rohm didn't have zerO's approval before approaching Bubba ?? Wise up.

Right after the explosion and fire , the Governor of LA asked permission to build sand berms along the coastline. Dispite many pleas, his requests fell on deaf ears until after 4 weeks he received conditional approval for a small section of coastline. The other day on the news , the Governor stated if he had been given approval right away he could have built 10 miles of berm in those 4 weeks.
Ignoring the Governor during those 4 weeks goes beyond failure, it constitutes gross negligence.

So Jindal claims it and you believe Jindal. On what basis? You don't link to anything that would tell a reasonable person that Jindal's claims are true.
And even if they were true, he's claiming ten miles of coastland. Out of how many miles?
Furthermore, Jindal says Louisiana is building the sand berms, so how could Obama have stopped him?
http://www.mefeedia.com/news/31338763
http://www.wafb.com/....asp?s=12529674
You write as though sand berms offered a sure solution to the problem of having the oil reach Louisiana’s coast but apparently that view is not shared by the experts. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,...1993051,00.html
http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/2010/0524/BP-...ssive-berm-plan
So do you have reliable links to support your claims? Of course not. You just post a few paragraphs attacking President Obama, in which you can claim anything you like. Where’s your proof that it would work?

Isn't that the smae Governor that didn't want the Feds butting in to the state's business? I guess he must need them now.

That accusation is a lie. If 2stupid4words thinks it's true, then let him post the specific conduct by the President and the specific law that he allegedly violated. He won't do it because he can't do it because he's lying again.

That is a lie. Canada has an aging population because of the post-World-War-II baby boom, which is causing health care costs to rise. The headline here is “Soaring costs force Canada to reassess health care model.” http://news.yahoo.co..._nm/us_health_3
Well guess what: soaring costs just forced the United States to reassess its health care model, too. At least Canada has universal coverage. They must like it because they’re trying to keep it, even as costs rise because of the aging population. This will turn around eventually when demographics change after the baby-boomers die.
Furthermore, the United States has not copied the Canadian system. Not even close. http://www.hc-sc.gc....s/index-eng.php

"after the baby-boomers die". That a very telling remark because Canada's healthcare is based upon "need". What they don't tell you is who determines "need". Canada has "death panels" ( although they don't use that term, they refer to them as medical assessment panels) which decide who gets a needed operation and who doesn't. If you're 70 in Canada and diagnosed with cancer you may be sent home with pain pills to die.
Comrade zerO's "ObamaCare has the same provisions concerning "medical assessment panels" (wink, wink) who will send your loved one home to die if it's deemed not financially practical to prolong his or her life. But hey, if zerO wants it, the Loonys will dutifully follow like lemmings right off the cliff.
Btw, ObamaCare is not carved in stone, the majority of the population is against it and when the GOP takes over congress in Nov. and zerO is sent packing in '12, don't be surprised to see a repealing of zerO's socialized death panel healthcare.

Well, at least you're lying in the appropriate topic. Before the new law, the insurance companies decided who was approved for surgery. We've had "death panels" for years, if that's what you insist on calling it.
What do you think is fairer to the people who need care: having the decision whether to pay for surgery made by an insurance company, which has a conflict of interest and a vested interest to deny treatment; or an independent panel whose main function is to serve the people?

And in the United States, under the old system before the new law, you could be denied coverage if you were twenty years old – or any age. Insurance companies did it all the time. It increased their profits.

That’s why new law was put in, Stupid. See, for example http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/03/26/...in6335430.shtml
And hey, Stupid, remember the little boy standing next to President Obama at the signing ceremony? He was there because his mother died because she had no medical insurance. http://articles.latimes.com/2010/mar/24/na...boy24-2010mar24
There are plenty more stories like these. All I did was Google “insurance company denies surgery death”. You can do the same thing if you’re at all interested in the truth.

If you weren't such a naive Obama Zombie you would understand that "pre-existing conditions" and other excuses insurance companies use for denying
coverage could be easily eliminated by federal law. Comrade zerO used pre-existing conditions etc. as a pretext for pushing through ObamaCare, a total socialization of our healthcare system. And Loonys like yourself bought into this federal takeover just like you bought into his many campaign promises that you've never seen, remember "I'll have the most open and above-board administration in history" ??
