The West Hudson St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Sunday March 14. It will begin in Harrison at 2 PM and will travel through East Newark, and up Kearny Avenue ending at Quincy Ave.

I hope the HPD are leading the parade. I remember several years ago when an EN Volunteer Fireman tried to tell the HPD that they were marching in the back. He was then told that the HPD would lead or the parade wouldn't start. He ran to the Mayor and the Police Chairman who were also told the same message. Long story short. The Police led the parade. The parade is not like Hoboken's or Belmars or Sea Side Heights.Do to the changing ethnic make up of the communities there are very small on lookers.
