Rumor has Town taxes are so high because of six and seven digit private detective bills. If that rumor is true , My God!

Vendor payments are vouchered and public record. Those bills would really stick out and if true everyone would know about it.

Like it or not your stuck with this guy. He has a tight grip on the town. As far as getting someone to run against him your out of luck. He's in with the boy's in Trenton and the county. Your done. Look at all the empty store fronts on Kearny ave. What's left? He's busy building his future at your expense and does nothing for the town. If there is truth to the talk about private invetigators bills I would like to know what that is about. Look, just move out and start new some where else. If you really want change vote for change in Trenton this november that will get attention levels up. Don't complain, Act! All the best. Former resident.

In other words, he get re-elected because most voters like him enough to vote him in.

Let's go!
We need change.
It's time to do a complete turn around.
Put someone there that is fresh. No political strings attached.
Maybe an independent guy? We tried the Democrat (Santos) his not working.
So let's try someone else. What do we have to lose?
We are already paying a ridiculous amount of taxes. Let's clean house!
What about names? Who do you have in mind to replace SANTOS?

This is disgusting. This is nothing more than the usual right-wing nut jobs stirring the pot against a mayor they don't like. If you guys want to make a case against the mayor, then back it up with facts. This is just slime and innuendo.

As for Mangin - you've got to be kidding.

Agree how many signatures are required for a recall? We the undersigned voters of Kearny NJ are asking for Mayor Santos to be recalled. Reasons are below : How do we get started someone to prepare petition and others to circulate. When this happens who will be our next mayor? Can our reasons be because he cannot control this town raising taxes every time we get a bill?

You don't need a reason. You need around 3000 signatures of Kearny REGISTERED VOTERS in order to put a recall on the ballot. You can bet that the signatures will be examined very closely so they'd better be legit voters. Then it has to be approved by the voters as a public question in a townwide election.

Without a massive organization and effort, it won't happen.
So, it won't happen. But you can have fun talking about it. ;)
