Guest Guest
The NOAA just issued its annual Arctic Report Card, explaining that the Arctic is warming at approximately double the overall global rate. The report goes on to explain that the Arctic ice caps are continuing to melt, and the polar populations are continuing to decline. Here is a news analysis, from a real newspaper. Guest Guest
The report goes on to say that a major cause of this warm up is all the hot air emitting from the white house.
Guest Frosty
You left out the part that said the ice field hit it's all-time low 35 years ago and has been growing ever since.
Guest Guest
Frosty, it's left out because it's not in there. You just made it up. And if you don't like the New York Times, then read the NOAA report. It clearly shows that the Arctic ice cap is continuing to recede, and the polar bear population is declining as a result. Guest Guest
That sounds like an inconvenient truth. The loonies don't like inconvenient truths. It doesn't fit their agenda.
Guest Guest
You left out the part that said the ice field hit it's all-time low 35 years ago and has been growing ever since. Wrong again. The data show that sea ice extent has been declining at an accelerating rate since 1979, when it was measured at just under 8 million square kilometers, until now, when the trend line has fallen to under 5.5 million. Open the link, scroll down the page, and look at the third image down. They're using 1979 as a starting year. That may be the first year they measured it. Regardless, it was not at an all-time low 35 years ago. It was approximately 2.5 million square kilometers higher then than it is now. Don't you ever get tired of being proved dead, embarrassingly wrong? Or do you just assume that everyone is as much of a dimwit as you are, and won't check the facts before drawing a conclusion? Guest Guest
I can't believe how stupid people can be. There's absolutely nothing in any of these reports that says that Arctic ice was at an all-time low 35 years ago. Global warming deniers just make up whatever they think they have to make up, so they don't have to think about anything, or change their minds. AND a disproportionate number of them go to mainstream churches. Tell you anything?

These last couple of days with temperatures around 15 degrees should prove to everyone that global warming is real !!! LOL
Guest Guest
NASA and the NOAA have just reported that 2014 was the hottest year on record. This puts to the lie to all the climate-change deniers, who keep burying their heads in the sand, claiming - contrary to all the facts - that the Earth isn't still warming. Here are news analyses from BBC, The New York Times, USA Today and Bloomberg. Go ahead, right wing sheeple morons, show us that you're stupid enough to ignore all the data because you don't like one of the news sources. Guest Guest
The oil companies have a stranglehold on our political system. Instead of grousing about government, conservatives should give serious thought to how corruption, by money, has destroyed the system the Framers gave to us. A true conservative would care about that. Today in the USA, conservatism scarcely exists. It has been replaced by a radical right wing, beholden to monied interests. That should tell everyone that it's all BS.
