Guest Guest
The vast majority of the land is old dillapadated buildings, that sit on contaiminated land that the owners were unwilling to fix up or clean up.These properties were underutilized and didn't return their fair share of taxes to the town. Unfortunatly, there are a few homes in the continuious area that had to be affected for the Redevelopment to be successful. The town hired a planner in 1997 and started the process in 1998 to Redevelope these 275 acres for the survival of the town and it's resident's. When completed people will realize that the Redevelopment is good for all. Harrison will only be a better place to reside and do business! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really? does the town plan on hiring more officers? or hiring reject SPECIALS will meet the need? cops are needed now! why aren't you people hiring and PLEASE no more sheriff dept? i think we already know what that brings to the table. let concern our selves with the crime rate in harrison not the traffic flow. how do you account for the massive thefts in town? can't wait to see the new residents out take on their car getting stolen but peter just gave out the most tickets! Guest guest601
Instead of butchering the messenger, try listening to the message. The idea isn't bad no matter who thought it up. Your property may be next. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah but you forget he was a councilman when all this was done. FLIP FLOP, SOUNDS LIKE A DEMOCRAT. HIS FRIENDS FROM NEWARK (SHARP JAMES, LUIS QUINTANA) AND A LOT OF THOSE NEWARK POLOTICIANS THAT ARE GETTING ARRESTED CONTRIBUTED TO MILAN'S CAMPAING. CHECK THE RECORDS!!!!! Let's start with one of the mayors longest and closest friend.

WAS THE GUY CAUGHT? was he involved in 'BOTH" cases? WHAT GIVES? IS OUR POLICE FORCE GETTING SO LOW IN MANPOWER THAT THE TOWN IS NOT BECOMING 'SAFER' UNDER OUR NEW CHIEF; FOR OUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS TO GO OUT SAFELY IN THE EVE TO HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ACTIVITES, ETC? HOW CAN 'SPECIALS' PROTECT US AND 'THEMSELVES' WITH NO TRAINING TO USE OR CARRY A GUN IF THEY COME UPON A ROBBERY OR DRUGGED OUT SUSPECT AND THE GUY COMES AT THEM WITH A KNIFE OR A GUN? What good are the 'specials' except for traffic duty? Anything else; they're putting themselves in danger before they can even call for a 'real' gun-carrying cop! PS> NOW, THE 'ONES' FROM THE GARDENS, ARE REALLY GIVING THEM A 'BAD' REP. BETTER START CHECKING OUT THE BACKGROUND/ CHARACTER OF THE 'NEXT' CANDIDATES! and don't be pickening' them 'all from the gdns!

EX. LYNCH FROM SOUTH JERSEY, THOUGHT THAT THE 'MOST' THAT HE'D LOSE, WAS THE 4 YRS THAT HE WAS CONVICTED OF BEING INVOLVED IN THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. BUT THEY TOOK THE 'WHOLE' 20 YRS WOTH OF PENSION OF $23,000 A YR away, leaving him with only $3,000 a yr!
