What was the Kearny Fire Depts. response time to the fire burning in the car of the now deceased Councilman Giordano? Could he have been saved? Why won't this forum acknowledge this question of even say the man's name?

All response times to the one or two fires a month by the KFD should be immediately made available to the public. It would hold the Firemen responsible for sleeping on the job. Firefighters say every second counts with a fire. Why don't they practice what they preach? They get a call and have to wake up and change from pajamas to their uniforms. Next is finding their gear and costumes, putting them on, staggering to the engine half asleep, getting directions and eventually arriving at the scene sleepy and confused. The Police, neighbors and freaks that monitor scanners are always there first. This lazy attitude might not permeate the Kearny Fire Houses if the Firefighters lived in town and had a stake in the community. I'm certain that the FF are not sleeping when it's time to clock out and hit the Parkway to go to their South Jersey homes. Any word on the response time to the Councilman's burning car?

Barney,  I'm sure you're crying over the new hires and promotions in KFD.  Just keep flipping those burgers and keep the tears away from the burgers.
