Kearny will be putting up their last "Holiday Tree",  whatever that is. The disrespect of Christians  at Christmas will end next year along with all the other PC nonsense after Trump becomes president on Jan. 20.

The  tradition of the Christmas Tree began in Germany in the 16th century.   German Christians would bring a fir tree into their homes and decorate it to celebrate the birth of Christ .

This tradition spread to America and around the world with the birth of Christ being celebrated this way.

Now we have Kearny taking the Christ out of Christmas.

The PC culture insists that we don't need Christ, we'll call it a Holiday Tree.  It sounds better this way, no one is offended.

Except for the Christians who've celebrated the birth of Christ this way for hundreds of years.

NYC has put up their annual CHRISTMAS TREE.  NYC is one of the most diverse cities in the world, yet they recognize the centuries old  Christian tradition of the Christmas Tree.

Kearny has discarded the hundreds of years old tradition of the Christmas Tree in favor of a holiday tree ?  We certainly don't want to offend anyone by using by using such a devisive word

Just curious, Dec. 25  is Christmas Day, recognized nation wide, Schools are closed, people of all nationalities and religions enjoy the day off.  Why then would Kearny ignore the reason and meaning of the day?

Political correctness doesn't have to be rational  or to make sense.  Political correctness is cowardly, being ashamed of a centuries old Christian tradition. Thank God we now have a president elect who's not afraid to say Merry Christmas or to call a Christmas Tree a Christmas Tree.  People that immigrate to America know that we're a Christian nation with a Christian heritage. To bad our cowardly politicians don't understand that.
