I would like to request, to the Town of Harrison and Kearny, that they continue the support of our Police Officers that other municipalities to the north of us have shown by continuing the BLUE LINE that has been placed on the main avenue of East Rutherford, Rutherford, Lyndhurst and, now North Arlington. Thank you so much for supporting the Police! It is now up to Kearny and Harrison to continue the BLUE LINE and show that they support our officers during this time!! Please show your support here, on FB, through phone calls to the town hall, police department and any other means. Please make your voice heard if you support your police because it matters! BLUE LIVES MATTERS

A blue line is a nice idea but it's not going to keep the people of Harrison safe. The town will be down to ** Police Officers by the end of the year. The Police force was almost double that amount in past years. This is at a time when terrorism and gang banging thugs are running wild on the streets. The liberal Democrats don't want violent thugs and illegals in jail no matter they do. The only chance is having them commit their crimes elsewhere with a strong Police Department presence. Harrison is NOT prepared and capable of keeping the residents safe. ******* Officers on a shift to protect nearly 20,000 residents is ridiculous. Is it any wonder why the majority of Police, Firefighters, Teachers and sky high paid town employees do NOT live in Harrison? Move out now if you value your safety.

Read the writing on the wall! Once the older guys leave, the town will be wide open to merge. Kearny Police and Fire has been quietly building and adding to their department. Huge businesses built in Kearny, or near the Harrison boarder. It all makes sense to everyone in each town. It can't be more obvious! With KPD/KFD additional coverage and very little or no rank to absorb, it's a perfect scenario for a merger, now more than at any other time in the past. The town population is booming, yet no extra Police and Fire personnel added? You explain that!
