The Firefighter profession is no joke. Every Firefighter almost dies at least 10 times each year. Eating smoke and running into burning buildings every day is no joke. The life expectancy of a FF is 50 years old but many die earlier from being burned by 500 degree infernos. Cheifs, Capts, Lieutenants for both cops and fireman most who don't live in town, and the redundant administrators in the schools it's no wonder my taxes in Kearny are higher than my friends in Chatham!
