Oh , we do care when our tax dollars are mis- spent. Those Corona cases that you are guzzling instead of buying Milk and cereal add up... Those little nightly trips over to the Burger King to get nutritious meals for the kiddies add up too. Let's all get real on this subject. Have all you receipts ready for checking. The ride will soon be over. Harrison cronies can't save you from eviction. Franklin ave has some great apts waiting for you. Then you can see what others deal with on a monthly basis, And you will get thinner and humbled and all will be well again.

What a moron! Do you even know what HUD is? A US government agency. Funded by.........yep, taxpayers. We pay for your lame asses to live on OUR property sometimes for generations. Get some pride and rent a real apartment - it will increase your self esteem.

We all pay taxes even us low life assholes that live in the Gardens and it is funded by federal taxes not local taxes Mr. Asshole so we owe you shit we live here because we can't pay your $ 1500.00 a month rent so you can pay your local taxes Mr. Asshole Fairness. Thank You

So what you are saying is that there are people living in the Harrison Gardens, That have incomes that are over the state guide lines for assistance.? And some of these people are women who receive child support and in some cases, also allow their new boyfriends to live there. And that there are a few members of a few families with connections to town of Harrison leaders.Through their friends in high places, The fact that these families make bad decisions without consequences and basically have a free pass in town. While other families that are not connected, have to struggle to make ends meet on their own. How can this be?

Ancient history, Don't give us your boo hoo story to try and cover a wrong.,The wrong that is going on is a matter of knowing when the time to leave is right. The people in question know they can do better for themselves, but selfishly choose to remain in the Gardens in their comfy position. And for people paying a lot for rent is an entirely different matter. Would it be feasible to evict everyone making more than a certain amount, Yes, Morally, Yes, Ethically, Yes. People making more than a given amount should feel shame to live in the Gardens Shame that others in less fortunate financial situations could be making ends meet. Jack it seems that, yes you were educated in Harrison. Just like the town politicians you like to divert the real attention away from the problem .And end up monologuing about the past instead of seeing the flaws that need fixing in the future. Jack, there came a point in life where you had enough resources to leave the Gardens, Right?. There are families living there that have resources that well exceed leaving the Gardens and living in regular apartments. They choose to stay there and take advantage of the situation. Jack , you have won because you chose to.There are people that need those apartments more than the people taking advantage. They choose to lose on purpose. It's as simple as that. cruel as it may sound ,It's true. Let's see if any of the honest people of the Gardens will admit to being over the poverty line, Let's see who will admit to having a large bank account, And last but most importantly , Let's see who admits to the shame of depriving needy families the apartments they deserve. This should be good, all of the above mentioned residents, cowering like a dog with it's tail between it's legs protecting it's balls.

How the the dpw worker thats making over 50,000 trying to get back in,when he was here once before and left to move on to bigger things.Thats not low income!!!

I am disabled, and have been trying to get an apartment at the Harrison Gardens since 2010....when i initially applied they sent me a bullshit rejection letter stating that i couldn't because i didnt live in harrison but rather with my mom in kearny, im 42 years old...what kind of an excuse is that??

and now they are still saying that applications are closed?? CMON.
